Day 5


Haaaay!!

Right. So, first off. Ryan did fantastic on his test! He passed the oral exam which means he doesn't have to do the 100 question written test. AMAZING! I'm so proud.

So I did me some Yoga today and it was surprisingly harder than the last time. Mostly because there was all sorts of pain in my muscles from running a couple days ago. But I must say, I LOVE this jogging/yoga mix. It's like yin and yang, or pb&j, or John and Yoko....wait...

Really though, they compliment each other nicely. After I jog I feel energized and after I do yoga I feel relaxed. Yoga fixes whatever jogging doesn't. I guess that's why they recommend cross training, eh?

One thing I really want to share with you guys is this incredible website I've been using. It's http://www.runnersworld.com/ and it has been so helpful. It is for sure the love of my life (sorry Ryan). Not only does it offer a free race training schedule, it has so much more about health and what to do if you get injured and training videos about different exercises. It's amazing. Even if you're not a runner, it has great info about exercising and staying healthy. My personal favorite is it has different sections for beginners (that's me), and women (me as well), and running with your dog (ME!). It offers tips, and equipment and blah blah blah. They really should be paying me to write this. Anyway, if you get a chance go check it out. It offers all sorts of inspiration.


Tomorrow is a running day. I'm planning to get up at 7:00 cause, after all, it IS Saturday :)

P.S. look at my pretty new water bottle! It's pink! YAY!
