I'm the Best Allergic to Cats Cat Owner

Mmmkay, so I thought it was time for pictures of kitty and the apartment so here you go. We'll start with the apartment first. I have to apologize for the state of the place. I could lie and tell you that I tried to clean up but that would be...well, lying, so there you go. Here's the kitchen:

I'd like to draw your attention to the very cute salt and pepper shakers as well as the magic bullet on the left. If you know me at all you'll know that the Magic Bullet commercial is my all time favorite thing in the entire universe.

Here's the other side of the kitchen. Notice the Cinnamon Toasters which by the way will be the cause if ever I have to be lifted out of my house with a crane. Ooo, and check out the chocolate Zucchini bread that I made. Ryan hasn't had one slice. I've completely consumed both loafs on my own. Sexy...I know. That's why I'm married.

Here's the dining table with crap on it. We're a pretty modern family meaning that we don't ever use it for anything other than a convenient place to put mail...and groceries...and receipts...and garbage...and my chap-stick...and keys...and kitty food...and bags...

Here's our lovely living room with our pretty couches and a snap shot of kitty licking herself. As you can see I keep this area spotless. Free from garbage or used dishes. I'm vigilant like that. Most woman aren't as good at being a wife as I am. (P.S. Yes, I AM watching Gilmores as you can see from the screen).

Here's our lovely bedroom. You're lucky I made the bed.

Now I would show you the other room but it looks like the uhaul monster barfed all over it so I'll save that for when everything is REALLY set up. I need to set up pictures and everything. The walls are pretty bland but we're still waiting for wedding pictures to come so we can print 'em and stick them in the trillions of frames we got from the wedding.

Off to the next order of business: Introducing kitty! Here she is!

Cute, yes? She's got beautiful green eyes.

This is the bed we set up for her which she quickly demolished. We have one set up with a pillow and a towel but she uses that for pooping. Thank you kitty. Thank you.

I moved over to the side of the balcony and she followed me hoping I'd forget I am allergic and decide to pet her. I pet her SOMETIMES :) . Look how cute she looks though. Very serene.

Quite often this is my regular view of kitty. I can't touch her or play with her so she sits there and makes me feel guilty with that cute face of hers. All she does is watch me from various corners of the deck. It's actually kind of creepy at times. Take a look:

Standing on the ledge...juuuust staring. This next one is my personal favorite.

All you can see is a sliver of an eye through the shades...very uni-bomber.

Anyway, that's kitty. We can't get enough of her! It's a terrible shame that I'm allergic though....I just caught her staring at me again. So creepy.

Annoyance of the day: What is it with Nicholas Cage and being the savior of the world in all of these new movies? Don't the directors KNOW he's not an attractive person? Don't they ALSO know that he's a horrible, horrible actor? Can't they see these VERY obvious flaws which would persuade them to NOT cast him in 'savior of the world' movies? I don't understand it.
